Storm Damage in Schaumburg, Illinois

A leak was found above this sliding door in this Schaumburg home. The homeowners were very discouraged upon seeing their drywall start to sag in their kitchen. The recent winds had destroyed the siding above the door on the outside allowing the rain to enter, destroying the drywall.

After giving their insurance a call they were referred to our SERVPRO office. We removed the ruined drywall and dried the area with air movers. Once dried we were able to replace the insulation and drywall making the kitchen look as good as new.

The homeowners were very grateful for our quick response to their home. The remediation process was also finished quickly allowing the homeowners to have their kitchen back within just a few days.
